Nanyang Business School Welcome Day 2015

COMMITTEE

Message from Chairperson:

A very warm welcome to the Nanyang Business School(Affectionately known by students as ‘NBS’) Family! Congratulations on having done well and securing a privileged spot in one of the world’s leading business schools!

This year, NBS Welcome Day gets bigger and better as we are the highlight of the revamped NBS Welcome Week in collaboration with 5 new camps that are concurrently happening! Besides having the camp spirit from our happy campers joining us, we have also added a night performance segment with popular local artistes such as Dee Kosh and Gentle Bones to spice things up!

In collaboration with SG50, we are also aiming to break the record for the largest SG50 logo made of red beans and rice! Apart from demonstrating the growth of NBS along with our nation, this logo will also demonstrate the ties that NBS has with the local community as the rice and red beans will be donated to the less fortunate.

As the saying by famous philosopher Lao-Tzu goes, “A Journey Of A Thousand Miles, Begins With a Single Step.” As you begin your journey in NBS, we hope to ease your transition into university through our various educational programs and briefings to get you into the fold! Through our STARS planner information session as well as our Welcome Day website where you can obtain tips from seniors and a compiled survival guide, we believe that you will be able to get ahold of the NTU way of life as smoothly as many of us did!

There are a myriad of opportunities available in NTU ranging from our various clubs that cater to the diverse interests of students as well as exciting networking and career discussion sessions organized by the School! So don’t be afraid to step out and step up and grow yourself to be a business leader, ready to step out onto the global stage!

We hope that NBS Welcome Day will be a good first step into your exciting life ahead as an undergraduate in NBS! Have a blast and we will see you soon!
