NBS Business Law faculty receives best paper award
Asst Prof Alan K Koh has been awarded the Ralph Bunche Award for Best International Paper at the 96th Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB) Annual Conference. Founded in 1924, the ALSB is an association of teachers and scholars working in business law outside of professional law schools. Asst Prof Koh is the first NBS member of the ALSB.

NBS faculty’s paper wins best article award
The Head of Leadership, Management, and Organisation division, Prof Jason D. Shaw’s article titled 'Organisations and societal economic inequality: A review and way forward' has won the best article finalist award. Co-authored by Hari Bapuji and Gokhan Ertug, the Academy of Management Annals article has received 937 clicks in the last 12 months.

NBS faculty appointed to be part of the Advisory Panel of the Law Commission of England and Wales
Assoc Prof Hannah Lim has been appointed as a legal expert on the Advisory Panel of the Law Commission of England and Wales (Commercial and Common Law) for the Digital Assets project. The Law Commission is an independent statutory body created to keep the law of England and Wales under review and to make recommendations for reform where needed.

Keppel in $3.4b deal to take SPH private after media business is hived off

Keppel Corp is proposing to acquire Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) through a privatisation offer after the hiving off of SPH's media business. In a live interview, Assoc Prof Hannah Yee-Fen Lim discusses the move, considering how SPH’s portfolio, which includes purpose-built student accommodation, senior living facilities, as well as stakes in SPH Reit and Reit management, can complement Keppel’s businesses.
