The Digital Agenda for Recovery Leadership in Times of Crisis
Thought leaders — Twitter's Mr Maurizio Barbieri and NBS Associate Professor Goh Kim Huat — discussed the popularity of Twitter and how firms can accelerate their digital investments and capabilities at the recent webinar organised by NTU NBS Alumni Association (AA). Mr Jack Lim, Vice President (Corporate Engagement and Careers), NTU NBS AA and Senior Advisor at Azendian Solutions, was the moderator for the session. It is often said that the real test of leadership does not occur when everything is smooth sailing. Rather, leadership is tested during a crisis. NBS Associate Professor Nigel Phang and three senior NBS alumni shared insights on "Leadership in Times of Crisis" with our Nanyang EMBA participants and alumni.
NBS faculty inspired by students to give back Graduating class pays it forward
Inspired by their students, NBS faculty members in the Leadership, Management and Organisation Division decided to come together and give back. Collectively, they have made a generous donation to support NBS students in financial hardship through the establishment of the NBS Student Aid Fund. The Nanyang Professional MBA (PMBA) Class of 2020 wanted to do something special to mark their graduation. What better way to do so than to give back to the school? The 30 participants then pooled together a sum of $5,500 to create the "PMBA Class of 2020 Bursary" to help NBS undergraduates in need.
