Course Description:

The aim of this course is to help students develop a strategic, interdisciplinary and integrative approach towards understanding the roles of HR technologies, performance management and measurement and how they support organizations in meeting or exceeding their business goals. 

Accordingly, this course comprises two key components:

(1) Performance Management
Human Capital is a distinctive organizational resource of any business. Well-designed strategies to manage and improve the performance of an organizationís human capital can transform talent and motivation into a strategic business advantage.

(2) HR Technologies & Metrics
Information Technology has become a critical aspect of developing and using HR programs and key HR processes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs to manage the life cycles of employees and also provide accurate, relevant and timely HR metrics and workforce analytics. This has increased managementís ability to make better decisions on their human capital, both at the strategic and operational level.
