2007 HURAY GOLD MEDAL AND CASH AWARD FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
|
The Recipient: Chen Xiaoyi, Grace
There
are many of us in NBS who has contributed greatly to the
society and I am truly fortunate to have been nominated
for this award. Working with the fellow volunteers in
WSC and RSPHI has certainly benefited me in many ways.
Taking part in these activities in school is a good start
to volunteering, especially if you are unsure of where
to start. The school has many activities which are committed
to worthy causes, be it helping the less fortunate or
protecting the environment. So don't hesitate in doing your
part for the society.
I
would like to thank the panel and committee, and Mr. Anthony
Huray for his generosity. I hope that this award has created
awareness in contributing to the community and has
served as a form of encouragement to all NBS students.
Special thanks to my fellow vounteers in WSC and RSPHI.
It has been great working with all of you, striving toward
a common goal. All of your compassion and dedication
have definitely spurred me on during the past years. This
award truly belongs to all of us who have contributed in
one way or another to the community. |
