The NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies (CAS) is delighted to invite all undergraduate students of Singapore to participate in the competition for 2018 to develop a business model and plan for a new business in Africa. Students are invited to form teams of three* and to develop a business model and plan for a new business in Africa.

BY DOING THE FOLLOWING
In a group of three,
- A: Develop a business model and implementation plan for a new start-up in Africa.
OR
- B: Develop a business model and implementation plan for a new subsidiary in Africa of an
existing Singaporean company.
Details
- Do an analysis of the country and industry of their choice, which will constitute a feasibility study.
- Develop a business model and business plan for the start-up by using the framework of Osterwalder & Pigneur (2010). This is available in their book, Business Model Generation.
