I never thought that my two months in Singapore would be so memorable. Singapore is not only a great place to live, but also a country with a lot of diversity that allows you to know various different cultures in one place. Chinese New Year celebrations and Thaipusam festival were only some of the major cultural events that I witnessed while I was there.

Nanyang campus is huge with a lot of green areas. Classes were interesting and they had the Asian touch that I was looking for. I especially liked the Global Business Environment class because we could learn about cultural differences between the South East Asian countries and also know about the current events that are shaping the future of the region.

From Singapore is very easy and cheap to travel around the region, so long weekends are a great opportunity to visit other countries. It is common for groups of exchange students to travel together which make the trips even more fun.

Looking back now, I believe that my exchange experience in Singapore and travel in South East Asia was the best decision I made during my MBA program and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for cultural exchange, travel and fun.
