Trimester 2 (2013/2014)

I had a wonderful experience at Nanyang, starting with a warm welcome during our helpful orientation. Once classes began, I found that smaller class sizes fostered lively discussions. While our course material was globally relevant, I appreciated the Asian cases and examples we studied as a chance to learn the same business insights from a slightly different perspective.

My professors were excellent, and I enjoyed engaging with welcoming classmates. Since I was only in Singapore for the second half of the trimester, most of the classes available to me met on evenings and weekends, and most of my classmates were part-time MBAs who shared relevant insights from their full-time jobs. It was like having dozens of live cases unfold over the course of the term!

Singapore was easy to navigate, and very clean and safe, albeit expensive. I enjoyed visiting its sights and neighborhoods, and will especially miss its food! It's also a great base for affordably exploring other destinations in Asia, and during the term I enjoyed visiting Brunei, Vietnam, Bangladesh and more.

I would definitely recommend NTU to MBAs interested in broadening their perspective and sharpening their business acumen in a new context.
