My exchange at NBS has been one of the highlights of my MBA. The two months spent at NBS have been very enriching, with the amazing cohort at NBS from across the world and also a great group of fellow exchange students (all from the American Midwest!). The courses offered enabled me to broaden my understanding and challenge myself at the same time, Green Trading and Medical Innovation being great examples. I was also fortunate to have classes that allowed me to interact with the entire Nanyang class and witness firsthand the diversity of thought within the class. The local Business Study Mission was also a great plus, providing deep insights into how companies do business in Asia using Singapore as a base and also into the challenges of doing business in dynamic emerging markets. The MBA Office has been very helpful in every regard - from the initial requests for the exchange programme, the orientation at the start of term to the excellent logistics during the BSM.

Being in Singapore has also allowed me to revisit the varied experiences that make up the country - from Sentosa to Chinatown and Little India. While I did not travel a lot, my fellow exchange students had a great time travelling across the region. Singapore, with its easily accessible airport and cheap budget flights, really does make a great springboard to visit Asia.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Nanyang exchange to anyone who is looking to get a great Asian experience!
