When I decided to pursue an MBA, one of my top priorities was to do an exchange term in some part of the world where I had little experience, or had never visited. After doing significant research, I decided on Singapore because it is an excellent hub to travel to and from while exploring Asia – which I had no familiarity, it has incredible diversity and will not present the most challenging transition from Western culture and the US, and it has excellent academic institutions. In hindsight, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made to date. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at NTU and Singapore, and got the opportunity to visit a number of countries and cities which I never would have anticipated enjoying so much. From the staff at the Graduate Studies Office, to the professors and fellow MBA students, everyone was incredibly welcoming to myself and my fellow exchange students.

With respect to the classroom environment, the professors were knowledgeable and passionate practitioners in their respective fields, the student body was very diverse and all industries and backgrounds were well represented. As such, the classroom discussions were both interesting and informative.

I’d like to personally thank Lindsay and Genia for making the transition as seamless as possible and I strongly encourage any future MBA students to consider an exchange term to Singapore and NTU.
