My experience as an exchange student at NTU was the ideal capstone to my MBA studies, which was focused on emerging markets. Living and studying in Singapore provided me with access to a diversity of ideas, conversations, and resources that I would not have encountered within my MBA program in the US. During my time at NTU, I took part in a special study-research program, which involved both enrolling in classes at NTU as well as conducting individual research supervised by an NTU adjunct professor. The research process gave me the opportunity to converse with professionals at some of the world’s leading multinational corporations that have operations in Singapore. I can sincerely say that this experience played a critical role in my ability to land an exciting job opportunity once I returned to the US.

As a city, Singapore is extremely livable and easy to navigate. I would move back to Singapore in a heartbeat. I would recommend the study abroad experience at NTU to any MBA students with interest in international business, emerging markets, or business in Asia.
