I participated in the MBA exchange programme during fall of 2014. I chose Singapore due to its rapid rise as one of the most important hubs for the Asian trade market. I also wanted to be part of the NBS community as it has an interesting approach towards Asian consumer trends.

Although I was a bit disappointed at not being able to enroll in all of my preferred classes due to high demand, I am still pleased with the experience in general. Most of the classes were very interactive as well as informative and I could see the contrast between the East and West pretty clearly. My fellow exchange participants were new to the NBS experience as well and I believe that we all bonded pretty well during my stay here. The NBS administration encourages participants to be social as well as professional while providing the necessary assistance.

I have learnt a great deal from my stay here and am confident that more of my fellow classmates from Canada will be happy to come here in the coming terms. Overall, I enjoyed my time in Singapore and hope to return again one day!
