Cheryl Tay had extensive audit and tax consulting experience with CPA firms before joining the academia. She is currently Director, Program & Assessments at the Center for Leadership and Cultural Intelligence (CLCI) and Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Capital Management in the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She received her PhD in Organizational Behavior and Management. She develops and innovates on learning and teaching pedagogies for the MBA and undergraduate programs. Her wide research interests include cross cultural studies, cross-boundary and expatriate management studies, individual differences (e.g., leadership, personality, self-efficacy, impression management, etc.), work-life studies as well as costing for Human Resources and programs. She has presented papers at top academic conferences in management, including the Academy of Management meetings (AOM), and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She has published in Group and Organization Management, Management & Organization Research, the Journal of Applied Psychology, and contributed a chapter in the co-edited volume of the Handbook on Cultural Intelligence.
