US Mid-Term and Brexit - Implications for Economic Growth

First, there was news of Brexit and shortly after, came the US presidential election results. Yet, the markets continued to power ahead which seemed to support the general view that politics has no impact. Until it does, of course, we see storm clouds darkening - trade wars, hard Brexit, US mid-term elections, presidential elections in major EM (Emerging Market) countries. Already, the rain is felt, but predominantly in the EM markets.

For how long could developed markets hold up? If half the world slows down, could the US economy continue to power on? How soon will US consumers start to feel the pinch of higher costs? Join Vincent as he shares his insights on the main risks, and attempts to assess the damage these could do to the current sanguine markets.
